附1:摘要
Abstract: For many western countries December 25th is one of the happiest days of the year. Many children begin counting down the days until Christmas beginning in early December, but have you ever wondered about the origins of Christmas. Why do many people put up a tree and celebrate with the colors red and green? Where does Santa Clause come from, why do children hang socks and receive gifts on Christmas day, and why do we sing special songs at Christmas time? Please join us for an American Christmas celebration as we will explore all of these questions and more. Please feel free to wear your best Christmas clothing items in the traditional Christmas colors of red and green as we learn together about the traditions of Christmas.
